Services will be held 11 AM Thursday at the Lane Funeral Home Austintown Chapel for Charles G. Herman, 69, of Youngstown who passed away Saturday morning in St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Chuck was born October 24, 1940 in Youngstown the son of Charles H. and Amy I. (Sigle) Herman. He was a graduate of Austintown Fitch High School class of 1960 and worked as a tool crib attendant at the Chrysler Twinsburg Stamping Plant. Chuck was a member of Wickliffe Christian Church, the UAW Local #122, the Handel Bar Dart League, Big D's Dart League, and the Video Bowling League. Chuck enjoyed roller skating, and was involved with the Cub and Boy Scouts for several years. He leaves his wife the former Christine Honse, whom he married September 18, 1993, two step-sons; Eric Knight of Warren and Ryan Knight of Columbus, one sister; Gayle Byers of Austintown, and one brother; Donny (Cathy) Herman of Highland Park TX, as well as several nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Wednesday and again from 10 to 11 AM Thursday at the funeral home.
